 LOCATION: MM 76, Bayside, halfway from MIAMI to KEY WEST. Our Island is Lower Matecumbe, (Residential Zone of Islamorada) separated by a 2- miles bridge from Upper Matecumbe (the commercial part of Islamorada, packed with restaurants, 24 hour supermarkets and shops).
NEARBY FACILITIES: Kayak, boat and Jet Ski rentals, diving / fishing charters, tennis courts within 2 miles. NEW: SALEBOAT RENTALS, CHARTERS AND LESSONS! EXTENSION & CAPACITY: 119 thousand square feet of premises (3 acres) with maximum occupancy of 18-20 persons. (That means 5,950 square feet per person, to relax in peace and privacy.) Buildings are 210-290 feet from the highway, the tropical park in between is a natural screen to keep out the noise of the world you left behind. ACCOMMODATIONS: 7 recently remodeled units in 5 buildings, sitting on the ground floor. Facilities for disabled persons. Modern comfort combined with old time charm. Generously equipped kitchens with coffee-maker, pots and pans, Microwave oven, toaster, etc. Cable TV, direct phone line for Internet access, LOCAL CALLS ARE FREE. Count on our Air Conditioning, it is reliable...(several back-up units standing by, for emergency situations.) Gas-operated BBQ grills and garden sets in front of each cottage invite you to enjoy a private dinner with torches right in front of your unit, or on the beach, if you prefer! And there is more…..A bottle of filtered water in your refrigerator, beach towels, an extra towel for your Pet! No extra charges, but luxurious foam-pads over your mattresses, soft blankets and comforters, immaculate sheets changed every 3 days, fresh towels and Maid-service every day. (If you prefer pillows filled with down & feather, just say so). PETS ARE WELCOME! All kind and all sizes of Dogs are admitted and registered (Vaccination proof is required), dangerous species like Rothweilers, Dobermans and German Shepherds only with the garantee of special surveillance of their owners. Restrictions are to be respected in order to protect the rest of our little guests. So far, no Pet was injured in White Gate Court! Pet-Fee: from $8.00/night under 20 pounds, and $12.00/night if over. No deposits! 220 FEET LONG, 60 FEET DEEP OF PRIVATE, WHITE-SANDED, HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE, KEY-STYLE BEACH. Key-Style Beach means, that our beaches are protected with sea-walls and rocks. (Do not expect long, Jamaican-type of beaches on the Florida Bay.) But we have a soft, sanded sea-bottom, clear water, safe to swim and snorkel. Lounge chairs and umbrella tables everywhere. Enjoy our paddle-boat for a little exercise! NO POOL. (But no screaming children either). You are going to enjoy the greatest pool in the world, the blue waters of the MATECUMBE BIGHT. Snorkel face to face with the colorful tropical fish and other creatures. Any quiet day the Manatees might show up, to get some lettuce from your hands!
